The text you are reading now stands on the smoldering ruins of a previous article. These words are the bombed out clock-towers and mortared churches of that article, of what it said. I have kept the title “Old World Lies” as a signpost to what once was, which in actuality was never an “is”…I know understand why Foucault destroyed/hid the History of Sexuality Vol. IV, why Dion Fortune’s followers brunt all her correspondence with Crowley, why my dad refuses to record his life. The world has ended every “day” and now it is time for us to rebuild. There was never anything there to begin with.
