Happy Hands & Happy Feet
Over the past few weeks I have done extensive research on the phenomena called “Dada Life.” I’ve dedicated myself completely to uncovering the discourses, the methods, the technologies that have predicated its existence in order to better understand its purpose. I suggest that “Dada Life” can most clearly be understood by examining the medico-political discursive shift that took place after the French Revolution; or perhaps, their one sheet. I present a telling excerpt from said document:
Dada Life doesn’t care about genres. They don’t care about smartness. They don’t care about the things you care about. Dada Life just wants to make you jump up and down.
Insightful, telling, and profound; indeed.
