The sound of Runnin’ is such that it will inevitably draw comparisons to various artists and time periods. I imagine almost every article or blog post about the track and band will make at least one reference to another group or song. Some will draw comparisons with contemporary acts such as _________ or __________ while others will cite popular tunes from the __s and the __s. The more ambitious authors will dig into the bargain bins from those same decades in order to fine the most sterling and obscure reference they can.
