Photographing Birds: New Benjy Ferree, Touring with Tim Fite

My Dad photographs birds and various wildlife. It’s a passion of his. He wakes up as early as 4am to make it out in time for first light, so he capture ideal conditions. The level of excitement he possesses at 4am is amazing to me, but not really.
Last Saturday morning at 4am when he was probably getting up to take pictures I was getting ready for bed. My excitement from the preceding night still palpable amidst the wish-wash of eye lids dragged down by sleep and booze.
This morning I woke up and excitedly opened an email from Kris Gillespie alerting me to the new Benjy Ferree record and his forthcoming tour with (and without) Tim Fite. It was like photographing birds.
