Middle (Weight) Class Rut
Before each dual meet in high school wrestling the home team runs out and does some warm-ups for show. The home team captains pick the music to which the team will warm-up to. Given the nature of competition and wrestling in particular the music must be at least somewhat energetic, or anticipatory, or loud. Although that simple criteria allows for a huge breadth of music to select from wrestlers, at least in my experience, are not often musically adventurous. This is doubly true for high school wrestlers, which since I wrestled in high school am most familiar with.
The four following songs will be forever linked in my mind with wrestling.

I wish wrestling captains were more creative.
