The 4 Most Inefficient Methods Of Concert Commuting: Action Painters @ PA’s Lounge Edition

Productivity blogs are all the rage these days. They’re easily read and often useful so their success makes perfect sense. In an effort to co-opt some of their success I will now present you with the 4 most inefficient ways to get to the Action Painters show tomorrow night at PA’s Lounge. (map)

Before I begin, I have to note that I do not live in Somerville so your most inefficient travel method may be different than mine. Given this fact, the following list is in no particular order.

Regardless of your preferred method of travel, remember that your ultimate goal will get to PA’s on Friday January 16th to see Action Painters. If you can’t make it, they’ll be on Band In Boston on Saturday, January 17th.

The 4 Most Inefficient Ways To Get To PA’s Lounge Friday

(All methods of travel will be rated on a scale of 1 to horribly inefficient.)

1. Log Rolling

The only real problem with this method of travel is finding a place to lock up your log while at the show. Boston is notoriously hostile to log travel.

Inefficiency Rating: Pretty God Damn Slow

Obstacles: Realizing you look like the two guys in the video above.

2. Piggyback Rides

Inefficiency Rating: 5

Obstacles: The lack of a crazy rat-cat-dog guy to provide inspiration.

3. Tubing

Inefficiency Rating: N/A – dependent on plowing efficiency rating.

Obstacles: News reporters

4. Magic Broom Stick

The video says it best, “we can’t fly, obviously…which is why we run with a broom between our legs.”

Inefficiency Rating: Eh…not so bad.

Obstacles: The unending verbal assault you will be given while running through the streets of Boston with a broom between your legs.
