**Updated** Chairlift Cancel October 22nd Paradise Show (Another Reason Paradise Worse Off Now)
**Updated**
I misreported that Yeasayer has canceled their performance - they have not. Chairlift will not be opening for Yeasayer, but Yeasayer will still perform October 22nd at the Paradise.
Yeasayer and Chairlift have canceled their upcoming show at Paradise. The band was scheduled to play on October 22nd, but will forfeit their scheduled stop in Boston in order to play the music showcase, CMJ in New York City. A representative from Chairlift’s promotion company has confirmed the cancellation.
In other bad news…Paradise now makes you check your back pack for a small fee. I may be mistaken, but since Avalon closed I believe they’re the only local concert venue to make you do so. They also raised the price of PBR’s $1 while replacing the tall cans with bottles awhile back.
Sometimes a change in ownership is a very bad thing.

Hey.
This news is actually incorrect. Yeasayer has NOT cancelled there show in Boston. They will be joined by Suckers instead of Chairlift at the show. PLEASE make a note of this ASAP.
Thanks.
Jason
