The Flying Change Cover LCD Soundsystem
Name changes are frustrating. I was annoyed when Puff Daddy became P Diddy and then just Diddy. I was baffled (although I shouldn’t have been) when Prince became that androgynous symbol. I was just confused when Sam Jacobs decided to go by the moniker Lipstik and then abruptly changed his name again, to The Flying Change.
Sam Jacobs as The Flying Change recorded his cover of LCD Soundsystem’s All My Friends September 1st at Rockwood Music Hall. He’ll be there again December 3rd. (map)
