Ponytail was…

…a loafer wearing drummer who played like a savage. His left foot wildly flailed away from it’s designated place on his high hat pedal as his voluminous, yet stringy hair slowly began to become heavy with sweat and stick to his forehead.

A petite lead singer who appropriately screeched and hollered while her eyes were pushed firmly into the back of her head, her cupped hands pulled down to the floor and her feet spread wide and firm on stage. She was Regan MacNeil if Regan was possessed by a powerlifter with a preference for sumo deadlifts instead the devil.

Dustin on guitar somewhat spastically ran in place like a uncoordinated factory worker forced to do morning calesthenics.

And Ken on guitar wore matching athletic shorts and golf hat while he playfully added the most perfect lyric on Ice Cream Spiritual, “Oh no, I’m late for school.” His ensemble was brave and made braver still by the stray chance of erection which would lead to eternal embarrassment. An embarrassment so immense that it could only be topped by hearing your name called to come to the front of your 7th grade class after receiving an unintended erection due to sexy text book diagrams of genitalia…

…and Ponytail was fun. (Even when the vocals are way too low in the mix.)
