Magic Wands
A duo named Chris and Dexy out of Nashville that met through an unspecified internet dating site. As their love grew they Skyped until past their bed times, giggled slurping Ramen Noodles while dreaming of visiting haunted churches and bowling alleys together. Chris and Dexy were into fantasy and began sending each other vintage rings, stuffed griffins and serpents, crowns, crystal balls, and stones to pull swords out of. All of the previously mentioned kitsch was traded in addition to music - records, mp3s, and edits of their collaborative efforts.
Finally the strain of being apart was too much and they each swallowed a vial of poison while staring longingly into each others eyes through their computers.
Chris and Dexy left us Magic Wands and they left us with a currently untitled EP. The EP has sounds like Black Magic which feature the most perfect offbeat “Hey!”s you’ll ever hear. The untitled EP is set to be released this fall.
