Cage The Elephant

Although the UK and the US share the same language the same word may have a different meaning. For example fanny means something awful dirty over there and bullocks doesn’t really mean anything here. Even if you think Guy Ritchie is the tits saying bullocks does not make you any hipper in the US. Sorry.

Well, the same phenomenon occurs in the writing of UK and US rock critics. For example, when The Sun (UK) writes, “One of the most refreshing, kick-ass rock and roll bands to appear in years” about Cage The Elephant that’s not what Americans should believe.

I’ve taken the opportunity to edit the previous statement to allow all my American friends to better understand our British brethren.

One of the most Another refreshing very fun and kick ass pretty promising rock and roll band to appear in years the past few months.

That being said their live show looks pretty wicked and their single Tiny Little Robots is quite good. So, although the UK tends towards hyperbole Cage the Elephant is definitely a band to look out for in the same way Kings of Leon were a few years ago.
