Liz Phair To Perform Exile in Guyville In Full At Paradise

I guess you could call Exile in Guyville a revelation for me. When Liz Phair’s debut album was released in 1993 I was relatively unaware of the differences and unique struggles of the female sex. Was I in part responsible for Phair’s other women’s certain apprehensions, anger, and disdain for certain male behaviors and social structures? I was left wide eyed and unsure if I knew who I was and who I should be moving forward into an ever changing and increasingly more female friendly musical world.

In celebration/promotion of the Exile In Guyville reissue that’s out now Liz Phair will be performing the album in full on three nights including one at the Paradise. Tickets go on sale today through ticketmaster (or, or the respective theater’s box office.

August 27 at Theater of the Living Arts in Philadelphia;

August 28 at 9:30 Club in Washington DC;

August 29 at The Paradise in Boston
