Big Digits, Neptune and No Age @ TT the Bear’s, 5/3
Big Digits, Neptune, and No Age got together at TT the Bear’s Saturday to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Boston College’s student-run radio station WZCB. Big Digits were their usual energetic selves and Neptune was fantastic, which is surprising given their penchant for layered noise rock and TT the Bear’s penchant for terrible sound. But the stars were aligned for a solid performance from both local acts.

I also picked up No Age’s Nouns LP on vinyl and it’s fantastic. To be fair, I downloaded the leaked version awhile back and have been listening to it almost non stop. I couldn’t resist myself and now that I own the LP I don’t feel bad about it. I encourage everyone out there to purchase a copy because it’s stunning.
