Happy Birthday Enough Cowbell! I Wrote a Post For You
We’re one!
Technically, we were one at least a few days ago, but some posts were lost when we transitioned off of WordPress.com. Therefore, I’m making May 2nd the official Enough Cowbell birthday.
So let’s imagine that exactly a year has passed since Enough Cowbell was started and let’s also imagine that the site sucks a bit less than when I first started it.
Thanks are in order for the people who have to listen to my incessant rambling about the site, my brother, and all those magic people who brave the tubes to get here.
Since I actually care about improving and making the site a legitimate music blog, I want to know what you all want to see more of, less of, and any general improvement ideas you may have. Be warned, indifference is approval, so speak up…please?

I guess it’s fitting that the video for Justice’s Stress was just released since the post for May 2, 2007 featured the video for D.A.N.C.E. It’s also fitting that the supposed thugs smash in the radio when they hear the song because at this point I feel the same way. Furthermore, I bristle at the classification of the video’s characters as thugs; they seem more like noble citizens to me.
They make the following contributions to society:
- Prevent any new photos from being uploaded to Facebook
- Prevent hippies from souring our streets with bongo heavy jam tunes
- Smash cars in order to promote biking and curb global warming
- Help rid the word of the detriments of excessive alcohol consumption
- Harass lame nerds
- Sport really cool jackets
