Berlin at SXSW

I really enjoy a good concert film, love Berlin (album and city), and have a deep spiritual connection with free vodka cocktails. So, if you’re like me then the screening the concert film documenting Lou Reed’s first live performance of his album Berlin should be on your to do list. The list should look something like this:
SXSW To Do List:
1. Enjoy enough fresh live music to make your ear canals implode.
2. Watch Berlin.
3. Drink free vodka cocktails.
I’ll definitely be waiting in anticipation for a general release of the Berlin movie and will be intensely petitioning my library to get at least one copy in circulation (buying DVDs is a waste of money). Berlin was directed Julian Schnabel produced by Grandview Pictures/LM Media GMbH.
For now, enjoy the absolutely beautiful song, The Kids, from Berlin (1973).
