On The Road: Islands in Brooklyn
We just arrived home (or something similar) from the early evening Islands show in Brooklyn. The show was full of tight musicianship, lots of new material, Nick Diamond’s love/hate relationship with ice cream and its man, and Subtitle, but unfortunately no news on a release date for their upcoming album. The show was really fun and I’ll hopefully have a full review to follow sometime over the next week. Please bear with me because the next few days includes performances by Justice, the Hold Steady, No Age, and Go! Team and I do not want to half ass the reviews.
